She’s getting the hang of her inherent (and inherited) magic, the shop she runs with her sisters is thriving, and things are progressing nicely in the romance department with her boyfriend,the were-demon Roarke Fallon. unfortunately, this is not the case for Del.Her mysterious Guardian Draka was more like a mother to Del when she was growing up and she's missing, and more danger than Del could ever realize. Del, along with Roarke and the help of her extended family, act on a series of clues about Draka’s location and she sets off to save her. I have certainly have enjoyed this series and each book pulls you deeper into the story. I certainly look forward as Del continues to unravel mysteries of her past and to find out what's in store for her future.

Del and co. find themselves in an adventure to save the phantom dragon, Draka. Along the way Del learns some disturbing truths about her past. Del just face her fears to succeed and she will need her friends and family close by to do so.
Another great chapter to The Seeker series!
This third installment in The Seeker series is full of high adventure, danger, and mystery. A life and death struggle, literally, is around every twist and turn and poor Del experiences this often. She is discovering herself through each of those twists and turns and is finding out that destiny and choice are two separate entities. I knock on my head and hope for the next installment to magically appear in my . 😊
I've really enjoyed this book, as well as the other ones that I have read in the first series. But please get a better proofreader/copy editor! I had hoped by now you would’ve corrected some of the basic issues such as the fact that there is no language called Irish and that beating on someone is spelled “whaling”, not “wailing”. These aren’t the only typos/improper words, but they are the ones that consistently derail the pleasure I feel in reading these books. I would absolutely give all of the books in the series at least a four, if it weren’t for this type of thing happening far too frequently.
Update Google search tells me there *is* a language called "Irish" so I've added a star, but the misuse of "wailing" and the typos are still irritating.
Everything Lindsey writes is good! This is book 3 in Del's story and it was great to find out more about her past. Through Cass's story-Dragon's Gift The Huntress, we know that Del, Cass and Nix are all missing memories of their lives before age 14. If you've read that series, you know Cass's history but not Del or Nix's. This book gives us much more of Del's history and leaves a lot to still be told. There's no cliff hangers but there is definitely more to the story and I can't wait for the next book to come out.
I’m thoroughly enjoying all the Dragon’s Gift books. They’re well-written, action-packed, archaeology-and mythology-enhanced stories with strong women who suffer self-doubt, but always rise to the occasion. And if they can’t tackle something alone, they know their chosen sisters, friends, and love interests will be right there at their side, ready to help. What a great group!
I really loved these books! Lindsey hall is a new author, I believe, because I liked these books so much, that I've searched for more by Lindsey, And only come up with these. Lindsey, if you're reading this, you are amazing at what you do! The ONLY thing I wanted to tell you is, whoever edited the book did have a mistake in chapter 14 the first sentence was of Del talking, but she said she loved her life with Del and Nix....something to that effect, at least. But considering I knew it was Del talking, I knew it was supposed to say, "Cass and Nix". No biggie lol. If you love the supernatural/ sifi type books, THESE ARE THE BEST! I can hardly wait for the next!
Paddling through the hot jungle, vultures flying overhead, Del and Nix felt the magic which was protecting the treasure site increasing. They had to be close to their goal. Spotting the abandoned city ahead, they saw a huge 50-foot magical snake pop out of the water directly in front of them. The snake immediately attacked. Both of them shifted to their Phantom forms and drew weapons to kill the snake, while the vultures continued circling, boding more trouble ahead. Once they defeated the snake and made it to land, things didn’t get any better. With an acid moat surrounding them and a jaguar growling from the only exit spot, things were not looking good! And if they did survive this peril, there was more potential chaos that could throw them into another adventure! So many things were out there to challenge their magic and their friendships!
The characters in this story are developed well. The women are strong and have great courage, easy to admire and cheer for. Del is still learning control of her powers, so the outcome of their danger is never totally certain. The intriguing story line continues in this third book of the series to give us exciting new glimpses to keep up the suspense. I highly recommend this book, and the previous two that are part of the overall adventure. The author has a great writing style and is easy to read. You can’t go wrong with this book!
